• GeoSentinel® is a worldwide communication and data collection network for the surveillance of travel-related morbidity. It was initiated in 1995 by the International Society of Travel Medicine (ISTM) with support from the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as a network of ISTM member travel/tropical medicine clinics. GeoSentinel® is based in the concept that these clinics are ideally situated to effectively detect geographic and temporal trends in morbidity among travellers, immigrants and refugees.

• ISTM has two exclusive publications, each serving different purposes. The Journal of Travel Medicine is a peer-reviewed journal with up-to-date information on prevention and self-treatment of disease, immunizations, clinic management and patient and staff education. Travel Medicine News is a lively newsletter full of timely information about ISTM activities and travel medicine news.

• MyISTM is a special members-only online community offering access to special travel medicine alerts, links to important resources, members only discussion groups including TravelMed, publications, educational products, and much more! ISTM members can log in once connected to see everything available to them.
