71st Annual Meeting of the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH), 30 October - 3 November 2022, Seattle Washington, United States of America The ASTMH meeting draws tropical medicine and global health professionals representing academia, foundations, government, not for profit organizations, non-governmental organizations, the private sector, military and private practice. The meeting is designed for researchers, professors, government and public health officials, military personnel, travel clinic physicians, practicing physicians in tropical medicine, students and all healthcare providers working in the fields of tropical medicine, hygiene and global health. 18th Conference of the International Society of Travel Medicine (CISTM18) 21-25 May, 2023, Basel, Switzerland The 18th Conference of the ISTM will be the largest international meeting bringing together physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and public health professionals from academia, government and the private sector who are committed to the promotion of healthy and safe travel. ESGITM European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases ESCMID Study Group for Infections in Travellers and Migrants Postgraduate Education Course -- Migration and Health: a world on the move, 26-30 September 2022, Montisola, Italy This aim of this course is to create a forum for discussion on the multidisciplinary aspects of migration and health, from global strategies to the prevention and management of infectious and non-communicable diseases, and analysis of social determinants and barriers to health. Course topics include: migrants, refugees, asylum seekers: the international and European context; migration, infectious diseases, and preventative healthcare; migration as a determinant of health: health needs and barriers to healthcare; migration and non-communicable diseases; transcultural approach to care and good practice; and global policies and strategies for global migrants' health. Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow RCPSG Postgraduate Diploma in Travel Medicine, 18 month program beginning 30 January 2023, Glasgow, United Kingdom This course will develop and support heathcare professional in their role as travel medicine practitioners. This course consists of 8 postgraduate modules delivered over 18 months by specialists in the travel medicine field using a blended model of two residential elements and online interactive learning. Virtual Travel Medicine Review and Update Course ISTM produces the Travel Medicine Review and Update Course each year. The 2023 Virtual Course date is 3-4 February 2023. Due to COVID-19 outbreak and greater accessibility to the course worldwide, the ISTM Executive Board has decided to change the format for this Course to a virtual format. ABC of Travel Health Course. The British Global and Travel Health Association (BGTHA) has released 10 short on-line courses as an introduction and/or refresher in travel medicine for doctors, nurses, and pharmacists. It incorporates self-assessment questions and covers topics including: Information Gathering, Risk Assessment, Prevention of lllness in Travellers, Vaccinations and Malaria Prophylaxis, those with Special Needs, Managing Illness Abroad and after Return as well as guidance on setting up and running a Travel Clinic. A certificate is awarded upon course completion. This course is formally accredited by the UK Royal College of General Practitioners and is recommneded for 23 Continuting Professional Development (CPD) points by the Faculty of Travel Medicine at The RCP&S of Glasgow. Editors are Professor Eric Walker and Senior Lecturer Mike Townend from Glasgow University, with contributions from travel medicine expert Fellows and Members of the Faculty.

ISTM Online Learning Curriculum ISTM Online Learning Curriculum. To expand the reach of the ISTM educational events, it has captured individual sessions from recent Travel Medicine and Review Courses as well as recent International Conferences of the ISTM and have made them available through the internet. Topics are relevant to all travel medicine practitioners, with both introductory and more advanced content. Offering both video with synchronized slides, and audio with synchronized slides, individual sessions range from 30 minutes to four hours.

THE LIVERPOOL SCHOOL OF TROPICAL MEDICINE (LSTM) – Online Travel Vaccinations: Principles & Practice course. This new online course aims to equip new and experienced practitioners in the development of their vaccination knowledge and skills within a travel health setting. It will provide a platform of confident practice, reflection and continuing professional development (CPD) through interactive learning with subject specialists and peers – IN YOUR OWN TIME (within the 5 weeks, approx. 4-5 learning hours per week). Delivered by experienced clinical professionals from LSTM who have wide experience of advising global travellers and teaching health professionals about travel health. Course curriculum includes: Vaccine preventable diseases of importance to the travel health practitioner, Accessing reliable evidence based country specific vaccine information, The immune system and the interplay with vaccines, Types of vaccines, Practical aspects of administering multiple vaccines and vaccine scheduling, Application of knowledge using travel scenarios for vaccine administration, Factors that affect vaccine delivery including cold chain and traveller specific issues such as existing health problems.

The Travel Health 101TM Provider Course. The course gives the health care provider starting out in the field basic and practical travel health care information. Attendees receive 2 months' access to the course material (PowerPoint slides with narration), and will be able to print out handouts to save. They also have the option of contacting the author (Lynne Bunnell, RN with over 25 years of travel health experience) if they have questions while taking the course or reviewing the case studies. After returning the evaluation and post-test, attendees will receive a 5 CME certificate.

The University of Minnesota/CDC Global Health Course. Enrollment is open for all seven online modules of the Global Health Course. The University of Minnesota's Global Health Course is one of 17 accredited global health courses in the world, and the only course co-sponsored by the CDC. It includes training presented by more than 170 faculty experts in an effort to help medical trainees, practicing physicians, public health professionals, and other health care providers provide the highest quality of care to their patients in the United Sates or abroad. The overall goal of the course is to reduce health disparities in the Global Village. Participants may register for any or all of the subject-specific, stand-alone modules and take them in any order, over multiple years. To fulfill the entire course, all seven online modules plus any two of the in-person course modules must be completed. Completion of the entire course curriculum meets the ASTMH requirements to sit for the examination that leads to a Certificate in Knowledge in Clinical Tropical Medicine and Travelers' Health (CTropMed®).

The University of Minnesota/New Tropical Dermatology Course This course provides an overview of skin diseases seen in the tropics with emphasis on diagnoses that are common or of medical/public health importance. The diseases are organized by presenting complaint. This is designed to reflect how we, as clinicians, evaluate patients: by clinical presentation rather than by etiology of disease. For each disease, the key clinical findings, etiology, diagnosis and management are discussed. The primary objective is to arrive at the diagnosis or narrow your differential diagnosis. The course is divided into 7 sections, and takes about 3-6 hours to complete. Completion of this course qualifies for 5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
